Orange Programs




Tiny Tots – kindergarten readiness program for children ages 3-5 years old. Children attend 4 days a week. Curriculum based – children learn English, alphabet, numbers, socialization and more. Parent/Guardian must be on site at all times.
Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 10:00am OR 10:30am - 12:00pm. Meets at Friendly Center Main.


K - 8th After-school Tutoring & Enrichment - an after-school academic tutoring and recreation program for Kindergarten through 8th grade. Students work with tutors and sessions include homework assistance, skill building, computer lab, and recreation. Monday -Friday, 2:30pm – 6:00pm, no program hour change on minimum days. Meets at the following locations:


Middle & High School Tutoring - An evening program for middle & high school students. Students receive individual and/or group tutoring which focuses on areas of academic deficiency. Students also receive assistance with school projects, computer instruction, and college prep. Students can attend Monday - Thursday, 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Meets at Friendly Center Main - Killefer Park.


K - 8th After-school Tutoring - an after-school academic tutoring program for Kindergarten through 8th grade. Students work with tutors and sessions include homework assistance and computer lab. Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs, 2:30pm – 6:00pm. Meets at Friendly Center North in Orange.


* Must meet low-income requirements for participation in the above programs. Applications can be picked up at Friendly Center Main.

Placentia Programs




K - 8th After-school Tutoring - an after-school academic tutoring program for Kindergarten through 8th grade. Students work with tutors and sessions include homework assistance and computer lab. Mon - Thurs, 2:30pm – 6:00pm. Meets at the Cathy Torrez Learning Center in Placentia.


* Must meet low-income requirements for participation in the above programs. Applications can be picked up at Cathy Torrez Learning Center in Placentia.
