A wide variety of programs and services are designed to assist low-income families overcome many of the barriers they face. Emergency services help families overcome short term crisis. Supplemental food programs prevent hunger. Educational and enrichment programs provide academic assistance for children from age 3 through high school seniors. Adults attend ESL classes, as well as parenting and computer classes. Programs are provided by Friendly Center Staff, Collaborative Partner Staff, Volunteers and Federal Work-Study Students.
