Welcome to the Friendly Center

A non-profit resource center serving the community of Orange, California.

Located in the heart of Killefer Park, in one of Orange’s multicultural neighborhoods, the Friendly Center offers programs and services for the economically less fortunate, such as children and youth academic tutoring and enrichment programs, family advocacy, Senior Citizen activities, supplemental food programs and emergency services.

The Friendly Center began in 1924 as an outreach to the migrant farm workers in Orange’s thriving citrus industry. Today it is a bustling community center dedicated to improving the lives of low-income families in our community. With the help of volunteers and the financial support of the community, the Friendly Center makes a difference every day in the lives of our children, families and seniors.
